The Perfect Full Body Wellness Circuit™
A guided wellness recovery experience in Owensboro, Kentucky — combining light aerobic movement, private infrared sauna therapy with 660nm red light, and controlled cooling recovery. One simple session. Three purposeful phases.
"Not a day spa. Not a gym. A different kind of Wellness spa."
What Is the Wellness Circuit?
The Perfect Full Body Wellness Circuit is a guided 45-minute wellness and recovery experience at Perfect Full Body Wellness Spa in Owensboro, KY. It moves you through three sequential phases — gentle aerobic movement, private infrared sauna heat therapy with medical-grade 660nm red light, and controlled cooling recovery — in a calm, private environment.
The circuit was designed for adults with sore muscles, stiff joints, everyday tension, and stress who want a simple, repeatable way to feel better — without a massage table, a medical appointment, or a gym membership.
Our focus is physical wellness and recovery. Every phase has a purpose, and every phase leads into the next.
Phase 1 — Move: Activate Your Body
10–15 minutes
Every session begins with gentle aerobic movement designed to increase circulation, warm your muscles, and prepare your body for infrared heat therapy.
Choose from:
- Exercise bikes
- Rowing machines
- Walking movement stations
The movement is intentionally light. You set the pace and the resistance — the goal is to wake up your circulation and transition naturally into the next phase, not to exhaust you.
Hydrate throughout. Water and wellness fluids are available on site. Staying hydrated supports your body's natural recovery process through all three phases.
Approximate time: 10–15 minutes
Your journey begins with movement.
Phase 2 — Heat: Infrared Sauna + Red Light
15–20 minutes
Relax and recharge inside one of our private infrared sauna rooms, featuring full-spectrum infrared heat combined with medical-grade 660nm Red Light.
Unlike traditional saunas that heat the air around you, infrared technology delivers gentle, deep-penetrating warmth designed to help relax muscles, support circulation, and create a calming full-body experience. The air stays comfortable — which means you can sit in it longer and breathe easily while you warm up.
Our facility features:
- 3 private two-person infrared sauna rooms
- 2 private single-person infrared sauna rooms
Every room is yours alone — or yours to share. No communal sauna, no strangers, no small talk unless you want it.
Approximate time: 15–20 minutes
Deep heat. Gentle recovery. Complete relaxation.
Phase 3 — Recover: Cool Down & Refresh
~15 minutes
Complete your circuit with a refreshing recovery session inside our dedicated cooling room, maintained between 66°F and 68°F.
The cool-down phase is the one most guests underestimate — and the one they talk about afterward. After 15–20 minutes of infrared heat, the cooling environment provides a smooth transition that allows your body to gradually return to a comfortable resting state.
The result: you feel refreshed, clear-headed, and energized instead of overheated and wiped out.
Approximate time: ~15 minutes
Cool down. Reset. Walk out ready.

Why the Circuit Works
The Three-Phase Logic
Most recovery options are one-note. A sauna alone heats you up. A workout alone tires you out. A cold plunge alone shocks your system.
The Wellness Circuit sequences all three so each phase sets up the next.
Move first so blood is already circulating when the heat arrives — your body warms up more efficiently, and the sauna time feels better because of it.
Heat second so deep warmth can do its work on muscles and joints that are already moving and loose rather than cold and stiff.
Recover last so you leave in a comfortable resting state instead of walking straight out into the Kentucky air still overheated.
Three phases. Forty-five minutes. One outcome — you feel better than you did when you walked in.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is infrared better than a traditional sauna?
Neither is objectively better — they're different experiences. Infrared is gentler and easier to sit in longer, with cooler air and an optional red light pairing. Traditional saunas offer a shorter, more intense, often communal heat. The right choice is the one you'll use consistently.
How long does a first visit take?
About an hour, including check-in and changing. The active circuit is roughly 45 minutes. Add a little more if you plan to shower afterward.
How often should I use an infrared sauna?
Many regulars use an infrared sauna two to four times a week as part of a general wellness routine. There's no universal schedule — start with once a week, pay attention to how you feel, and adjust. If you have any health condition, check with your doctor first.
How long should an infrared sauna session last?
Many regulars use an infrared sauna two Most people are comfortable in an infrared sauna for roughly 20 minutes, and many stay up to 40. Because the air is cooler than a traditional sauna, it's easier to extend. Start shorter and build up as you learn your comfort level.
What should I wear in an infrared sauna?
Whatever you're comfortable in. Some guests wear a swimsuit, others wear light workout clothing, and some prefer towels. At our facility, every room is private — so it's entirely your call.
Can I use an infrared sauna after a workout?
Yes, and it's a popular time to go. Many guests come in after training or a long day of physical work. We recommend hydrating before, during, and after your session.
Do infrared saunas make you sweat?
Yes. You typically sweat less than in a traditional sauna because the air is cooler, but because the heat penetrates your body more directly, you still sweat — and many people find it more comfortable.
Can I bring a friend?
Yes. We have three private two-person infrared sauna rooms, so you can share the heat. Ask about our Bring a Friend rate.
Do I need to be in shape?
No. The movement phase is intentionally light and entirely self-paced. Choose a bike, rower, or walking station and set your own resistance.
Will I be in a room with strangers?
No. Every infrared sauna room is private — single-person or two-person. You won't share a sauna with anyone you didn't bring.
What should I wear?
Comfortable clothing you can move in for the movement phase. For the sauna, anything from a swimsuit to light workout clothes to a towel wrap works — every room is private.
Should I eat before I come?
Keep it light 1–2 hours beforehand rather than a heavy meal immediately before. Hydrate beforehand.
Is a sauna safe for everyone?
Saunas aren't appropriate for everyone. If you're pregnant, have a heart condition, take medications that affect sweating or blood pressure, or have any other health concern, please talk to your doctor before booking. Our staff is happy to answer questions about the facility, but we don't give medical advice.
What if I've never used a sauna before?
That's genuinely common here. Staff walks first-timers through the room, explains the controls, and lets you know how long to stay. You won't be figuring it out alone.
What if I have a health condition?
Let us know when you book, and check with your doctor first if you're pregnant, have a heart condition, or take medications that affect sweating or blood pressure. We'll help you adapt your session.
Is there a women-only option?
Yes. Ladies Day runs every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9 AM to 7 PM, when the facility is reserved exclusively for women. Learn more about Ladies Day →
Should I book ahead?
Reservations are recommended if you have a specific time in mind. We typically accommodate walk-ins during open hours.
Is it awkward going alone?
Not at all. Most guests come alone, and the environment is quiet and private. Nobody's making small talk or watching what you do.
Can I bring a friend on my first visit?
Yes. Our private two-person infrared sauna rooms are perfect for a first visit with someone else. Ask about our Bring a Friend rate.
